Meet my Mocca-Coloured ‘Gizmo’

Tuesday morning arrived bright and clear.  The sun was shining, the sky was blue, and it seemed like an ordinary day.  Little did we know that within several hours we would be the owners of three mischievous, curious, shy, little beings that would turn our day completely around.  What were the mysterious beings?

Three little guinea pigs.

Meet Widget.  Widget James, to be precise.  While we are still starting to get to know each other, he has proved himself to be a mixture of friendliness and uncertainty in this big, new world.  He is really just a cute ball of mocca-coloured hair.

Widget and I

To meet two other cute balls of hair, stay tuned to Nomi and Daniel’s blog!

Domino jealous of the three attention-stealers

PS: needless to say, Domino is not impressed.

  1. Oh! He’s so cute! We used to have two guinea pigs. One was all brown and his name was Cookie, and the other one was black on both ends and white in the middle. That was Oreo.
They were a lot of fun!

We used to have guinea pigs a few years back. They were really fun to play with, but because of the smell and one wouldn’t stop biting…we gave them away.

Who thought of the name Widget?

  4. Oh, and I replied to your last comment on the book “So Much More” back on my blog. Sorry I didn’t answer your question sooner!

  5. Too cute. I always liked guinea pigs, and a friend of ours had one a while ago, although I always thought it would bite me if I petted it. 🙂 Cute name… 🙂 Widget. Well, we were thinking of naming a cat Twitter… 🙂 have anything to do with being a blogger?

    Love and hugs,
    Rachel
