Shem, Ham and Japeth’s Decendants

Hey there! This is some work I worked on several years ago… have you wondered who was the eldest of Noah’s sons? I know that Ham was the youngest, because Noah said so when he cursed him – but some versions say different things on who was the eldest. I personally think it was Shem, because his ansesters were the Isrealites. Also, when you name the three sons, Shem, Ham and Japeth, SHEM is the on who is mentioned first. When Noah blessed Shem and Japeth, he blessed Shem first.

In the NKJV, in Genesis 10:21 B, it calls Shem “the Brother of Jabeth the elder.” So, we are back to square one!! It is just another secret that God keeps!!

Hope you find this interesting!! Jessica Lee <><

Noah after the Ark

Noah grew a vineyard, and became drunk. He was sleeping naked in his tent when Ham, his son, came and mocked him! Then Ham went to his brothers and told them that Dad was drunk and to come and laugh at him. Instead, Japheth and Shem got a blanket, and walked backward into his tent. They put the blanket on him, and walked away. When Noah woke up and realised what had happened, he was ashamed and cursed Ham and blessed Japheth and Shem. If you read the Bible, you will find that Ham’s descendents were Shem and Japheth’s enemy.

Read Genesis 9: 18-28 for more on this story.

Genesis 7-10 is full of the story of Noah, the ark and his sons.
